Qatar First Bank to start trading 27 April

Doha-Mubasher: Qatar First Bank (QFB) will start trading on Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) as of Wednesday, April 27, 2016, according to an issued statement.

This decision followed the approval of Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA). Thus, the number of companies listed on QSE have reached 44.

“QSE stated that listing of QFB will be in the Banking and Financial Services Sector with a symbol QFBQ,” the statement added.

The premium price will be QAR 15 with a fluctuation of 30% up/down; it will be permitted only for the first day of listing. Meanwhile, the price fluctuation on the second day and thereafter will be by 10% up/down as the case for all other listed companies, noted the bourse statement.
